JiuJitsuSkool
A structured library indexing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques — an exercise in information architecture and content organization.
What it was
JiuJitsuSkool was a structured library and index of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques — organized by position, submission type, and the situations techniques actually appear in, rather than the flat alphabetical list most references use.
What made it interesting
BJJ knowledge is a graph pretending to be a list. Techniques chain into each other, fail into other techniques, and only make sense in positional context. Building an index that respected that structure was a small, genuine information-architecture problem — the same shape as the content-organization work I now do for much less sweaty subjects.
Status
Past — inactive. The lessons about organizing interconnected content carried forward; the gi did not.
